***
Today I found THIS birdnest idea on Móni Tanó's site.
Me and Albi created our version right away.

Natúr csomagolópapírból vágtuk a fészekbe valót.
Kisebb darabot adtam Albinak, hogy át tudja egyedül vágni.

***
We cut the nest lining from unpatterned gift wrap.
I gave a small sheet to Albi so that he could cut it through by himself.

***
I blew out the eggs (well, I should buy a proper egg drill to make nice holes) and fixed the paper beak with a thread.

A gyöngy lett a nyelve a kismadaraknak.

***
Put the needle through the egg starting from the bottom, stab it through the paper, push it through the pearl and return the needle again through the paper into the egg to its bottom. Knot the thread on a small paper circle, carefully but tight so that it holds the bead in place. The pearl becomes the tongue of the bird.

Textilszárnyat ragasztottunk nekik.

***
We glued textile wings to them.

***
I stood them on bottle caps to prevent them from falling over, you can even glue them together.

Alkoholos filccel rajzoltam nekik szemet, a fészket egy szép tányérra tettem, beültek és kész. Várják a  kukacot. Meg a tavaszt.

***
I pointed them eyes with the tip of a permanent marker, put the nest on a beautiful plate, the birds sat into it and ready. They are now waiting for worms. And for spring.
